The twelfth and final sign of the zodiac, Pisces is represented as a feminine water element. It is characterized by its emotional, introspective and sensual nature. In Pisces, Jo embodies the essence of the astrological sign as she comes into her independence as a young woman. Just as Jo moves into a life of her own, her single mother must learn to start anew.

Pisces was created as a final year independent project at Boston College, and features original music by Ricardo Poza and borrows music from Broken Social Scene, courtesy of Arts&Crafts Records.
